Doris Matsui, representing California’s 7th Congressional District since 2005, has been active on the legislative front. In recent tweets, she addressed policies she is advocating for and services her office is providing.

On April 7, 2025, Rep. Matsui announced, "I reintroduced the bipartisan National Telecommunications Information Administration (NTIA) Reauthorization Act, which will modernize @NTIAgov's mission and provide new tools to ensure the agency can keep up with the pace of innovation."

On April 8, 2025, she informed her constituents about upcoming office hours to assist in navigating federal agencies, stating, " CONSTITUENT SERVICES HOURS: Thursday, April 10 [...] From 9am-12pm, stop by the Stockton Boulevard Partnership to learn about the resources and support you have during these uncertain times."

On April 9, 2025, Rep. Matsui tweeted about bipartisan issues relating to internet access and transparency in ticket pricing: "Policies like building high-speed broadband in rural areas to increase access to the Internet and making ticket prices transparent should be bipartisan—yet @elonmusk convinced Republicans that THEIR thoughtfully crafted policies in the bipartisan budget package last year were"
