Sacramento State University Athletics issued the following announcement on Dec 16.
Due to county health orders in both Yolo County and Santa Clara County, Sacramento State's games against UC Davis and Stanford have been canceled.
Originally, the Hornets were scheduled to host UC Davis on Dec. 19 at the Nest, and play a road game at Stanford on Dec. 21. However, UC Davis paused competition on Dec. 5 to remain compliant with Yolo County health orders. Stanford has canceled four non-league home games since the Santa Clara County guidelines went into effect, and Sacramento State is one of those games.
The Hornets, who are attempting to schedule additional games, are not slated to play again until Dec. 30 at Saint Mary's.
Sacramento State is 3-0 overall and 2-0 in the Big Sky, and has not played since a 73-57 victory over Idaho on Dec. 5.
