The average cost of regular gas in cities within Sacramento County was $4.87 per gallon.

There are 193 gas stations in cities within Sacramento County.

The $4.94 average price of regular gas in California was unchanged since last week.

Gas prices in the U.S. have fluctuated greatly in recent times and many drivers are feeling the pain at the pump.

The cost of rising gas prices is made tougher on average U.S. families by rising inflation. Families had to pay nearly 8 percent more for average goods and food they needed.

“Higher prices will likely last well into next year, if not longer,” experts said at the end of 2022.
