Registration is now open for the Department of Youth, Parks, & Community Enrichment (YPCE) Spring Break Camp, which will be held from March 30 to April 3. The camp is designed for children ages 6 to 12 and will operate daily from 9 a.m. to noon at several community centers in the city, including Coloma, Clunie, George Sim, Hagginwood, Oak Park, Pannell and South Natomas.

The YPCE Spring Break Camp offers children a safe environment with both structured and free-choice activities. These include sports, games, arts and crafts, team-building exercises, STEAM activities, as well as indoor and outdoor adventures.

“Spring Break Camp gives kids a chance to stay active, try new activities and build friendships in a safe and welcoming environment,” said YPCE spokesperson Gabby Miller. “We’re proud to offer an affordable option that supports families while school is out.”

Each day campers receive a healthy snack. The program aims to create an inclusive atmosphere where every child feels valued and connected.

Families can register on a daily basis for $10 per day. Scholarships are available for those who qualify; early application is recommended.
