Former Inderkum High School standout Van Froling contributed to the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos’ 13-3 victory over the Saint Mary’s Gaels on Tuesday, March 10, at 4:35 p.m. in an NCAA Division I baseball matchup.

The matchup, held at Caesar Uyesaka Stadium, marked the first meeting between the Gauchos and the Gaels this season.

Froling pitched one inning, tallying two walks and striking out two batters.

UC Santa Barbara’s next contest is set for Friday, March 13, at 6 p.m. against the UC Davis Aggies at Phil Swimley Field at Dobbins Stadium.
