Sacramento State University Athletics issued the following announcement on Jan 6.
Sacramento State's two-game series vs. Portland State, scheduled for Thursday and Saturday of this week, has been canceled due to COVID-19 testing protocols within Sacramento State's program.
The Hornets and Vikings were scheduled to play Thursday afternoon inside the Nest, and Saturday afternoon in Portland. At this time, Big Sky Conference basketball games that are canceled will not be rescheduled.
Sacramento State (4-1, 2-0) is not scheduled to play again until traveling to Idaho State for a two-game series on Jan. 14 and Jan. 16.
